Worn for last two years in Iraq~I have worn your "Merino Long Sleeved T-shirt" for the last 2 years whilst operating in and around the Iraq AOR as a PSD. It has provided, not only warmth in the harsh winters in the Kurdish Mountains, but surprisingly protection in the hot desert areas of Central Iraq whilst operating in full kit.
Comfort factor is very important in my line of work, as we wear body armour for long periods of time whilst performing our duties. Your wool thermal undershirt allows me to wear body armor directly over the top, and a shirt to cover for covert operations. In the cold environments this allows me to cut down on the bulk of clothing that I wear, which allows for comfort and manoeuvrability.
Your undershirts, now are an essential part of my "tactical equipment"

Lucas Trihey on day nine at the geographical centre of the Simpson Desert – only 230km to go to Birdsville!~
Walking the Simpson Desert with Rammite merinoIn June 2006 I became the first person to walk solo and unsupported across the Simpson Desert walking via the centre of the desert, travelling cross-country and avoiding vehicle tracks. The weather fluctuated from below zero at night to the mid 30s and because I was pulling all my water and supplies in a purpose-built cart I was on a strict water allowance of four litres per day.I took Rammite merino boxers and a Rammite T-shirt thinking that they would keep me warm on the cold nights but I soon discovered that these fine wool garments were very useful on the hot days as well. On the second day of walking the physical workload was very high because the cart was still heavy and I started suffering some nasty chafing on my inner thighs. I tried everything I could think of to fix this painful problem but nothing worked – until I tried the Rammite boxers!
I was hesitant at first because I’d thought they would be too warm to walk in but when worn under my shorts they stopped the chafing and because they breathe so well and moved moisture away from my skin they were incredibly cool and comfortable.
I wore the same pair of boxers for the remainder of the entire trip – 16 more days of gruelling slogging across 400km of sand dunes. The Rammite merino is the best next-to-skin fabric I’ve ever used, it stays comfortable, doesn’t smell and doesn’t get clammy.
